Today in History: Lita loses her baby

On this day in history:

September 13th, 2004 | Lita, having been impregnated by and married against her will to Kane, was not thrilled to be dragged to ringside for his match against Gene Snitsky. She even interfered in the match, stopping Kane from hitting Snitsky with a gruesome chair attack. Kane backed Lita into a corner, and Snitsky took the moment to attack Kane, causing him to fall on top of his pregnant wife. Immediately, Lita felt something was wrong, and she was carted into an ambulance and sent to the hospital. Kane, genuinely concerned, followed. News would soon surface that Lita had suffered a miscarriage as a result.

Photo: Police raid popular brothel in Ghana; arrest 12 persons including 23-year-old Nigerian sex worker

 The Koforidua District Police Command of the Ghana Police Force over the weekend, raided and arrested twelve persons found to be allegedly soliciting for sex at Bula spot, a popular brothel in the Eastern Regional capital. The owner of the facility, 61-year-old Anthony Ekar was also arrested in the swoop. A 23-year-old Nigerian sex worker was among women arrested in the raid.  Eastern Regional Police Public Relations Offier, DSP Eben Tetteh said the district commander, Chief Superintendent Aduhene Binneh led a team of police officers and community protection personnel to the scene and apprehended the suspects. Those arrested are:  Gideon Syivor Mendah, 42, Michael Adjei 40, William Danquah, 24, Ekpo Torbe, 23 , Kwaku Ayogame ,30, Kwame Musah, 24. The rest are Mary Wondalo 39, Rachel Adofo, 26, Constance Abiaw, 20, Joyce Monday, 23,  a Nigerian national and Paulina Ayisi, age 20. The place is notorious for the trading of sex, especially in th...
