September 17th, 2006 | For Trish Stratus‘s retirement match, there could be no better opponent than Lita. Their Women’s Title match at 2006’s Unforgiven served as the culmination of their storied history and, fittingly, it was a highly competitive match. Finishers were reversed and kicked out of, and Trish had to break out the Sharpshooter to finally get the win. Lita tapped out, allowing Trish to end her official career with one more Women’s Title victory to her name. The champ celebrated one last time, receiving a standing ovation from those around the ring.

Photo: Police raid popular brothel in Ghana; arrest 12 persons including 23-year-old Nigerian sex worker

 The Koforidua District Police Command of the Ghana Police Force over the weekend, raided and arrested twelve persons found to be allegedly soliciting for sex at Bula spot, a popular brothel in the Eastern Regional capital. The owner of the facility, 61-year-old Anthony Ekar was also arrested in the swoop. A 23-year-old Nigerian sex worker was among women arrested in the raid.  Eastern Regional Police Public Relations Offier, DSP Eben Tetteh said the district commander, Chief Superintendent Aduhene Binneh led a team of police officers and community protection personnel to the scene and apprehended the suspects. Those arrested are:  Gideon Syivor Mendah, 42, Michael Adjei 40, William Danquah, 24, Ekpo Torbe, 23 , Kwaku Ayogame ,30, Kwame Musah, 24. The rest are Mary Wondalo 39, Rachel Adofo, 26, Constance Abiaw, 20, Joyce Monday, 23,  a Nigerian national and Paulina Ayisi, age 20. The place is notorious for the trading of sex, especially in th...
